The Message
The Message began the process of making digital copies of archived issues in 2010. These digital copies are high-resolution scans that are made directly from the last remaining printed copies.
To make the scans of these printed newspapers, The Message contracted with SmallTownPapers, a company that specializes in digital preservation of small weekly newspapers.
Volumes will be scanned and made available online for free as funding becomes available.
