0 The Message -- for Catholics of Southwestern Indiana Worth mentioning... Correction: Priest's name omitted from list The Bishop's Forum, published Nov. 22, reminded readers that "Thanksgiving is a moment not to be lost." Bishop Ger- ald A. Gett.elfinger called particular attention to priests who are now retired who had "touched the lives of thousands of our diocese." Due to a clerical error at the Message, a name was omit- ted from the list of retired priests which was printed on the same page as the bishop's column. The Message regrets the error. The following name should be included, along with the bish- op's encouragement to friends and acquaintances, to send a card of Thanksgiving or a Christmas greeting, to Rev. Adollh M. Egloff, 2017 North Second Street, Vincennes, IN 47591. Father Egloff was born June 3, 1915, and ordained May 14, 1940. He retired in 1977. Parishes he has served include St. Boniface, Evansville; St. John, Vincennes; All Saints, Can- nelburg, and St. Joseph, Princeton. TEC board sponsors 'grouping' workshop A Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) weekend is an opportuni- ty for young adults and adult observers to gather as a com- munity of believers to encounter the Paschal Mystery, accord- ing to Mike Eppler, diocesan director of youth and young adult ministry. A TEC weekend is designed on the elements of the Paschal Mystery and has a heavy emphasis on sacraments, the call to holiness, the call to community, the call to mission and the call to Christian Maturity. Young adults seek and need a follow-up experience in their parish community, according to Eppler. The TEC Board of Directors is sponsoring a "Small Christian Community" grouping workshop on Dec. 15. The workshop will be held at Holy Family Church, Jasper, from 1 to 3 EST. Diane Hillen- brand is coordinating the event. For more information, call Mike Eppler at (812) 424-5536 or (800) 637-1731.
