The Message -- for Catholics of Southwestern Indiana I I II I I I I November 18, 1988 MD Boosters sponsor appreciation dinner The Mater Dei Booster Club and the Band Boosters spon- sored the annual marching band appreciation dinner at Mater Dei High School, Nov. 9. Jerry Grannan, band director, Carol Tenhumberg, president of the Band Boosters, and Walter Bowman, principal, presented awards to members of the band and flag corps. "Mater Dei is a better high school because of people like ou and because we have a and program," Bowman told the students and their parents. Involvement in the band pro- vides "the experiences that help us grow as people," he said. President of the Mater Dei band is Dana Masterson; vice- president is Maria Lindenschmidt; secretary is Angle Kirsch, and the treasurer is Charlotte Reisinger. The Band Booster officers are: Carol Tenhumberg, presi- dent; Cricket Rheinlander, vice- president; Jalane Weber, secretary; Sara Barr, treasurer, and Vickie Ashworth, historian.
