18 The Message -- for Catholics of Southwestern Indiana I October 23, 1987 Vatican Golden jubilarians Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Pfaff of Huntingburg will celebrate their fif- tieth wedding anniversary with a Mass of Thanksgiving at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, at St. Mary Church, Huntingburg. Relatives, friends and neighbors are invited to an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Home in Jasper. The couple requests no gifts. Mr. Pfalf and Alberta Vonderschmitt were married Oct. 27, 1937 in St. Joseph Church, Jasper. Golden jubilarians Mr. and Mrs. Carl Baumgart celebrated their fiftieth wedding an. niversary with a family dinner Oct. 18 at the Haustadt Communi- ty Park, followed by an Open House. The Baumgarts are the parents of six sons, Donald of Bedford, IN. Charles, Maurice and John, all of Hanbstadt and Gary of Evansville, and a daughter, Mary Hirsch of Haubstadt.
