September 6, 1996 The Message -- for Catholics of Southwestern Indiana 7 g a Stand The theme for this school year in Catholic schools across the Diocese of Evansville is "Take a Stand, Make it Right." Kathleen Sergesketter, princi- pal at Holy Redeemer School, Evansville, wrote in the school newsletter: "At Monday's opening Mass, all of us were called to stand up for what we believe in and to act upon what we think is right. "Using Christ as our source of light, we were challenged to be points of light for others to follow. This year, students along with fac- ulty and parents will continue to learn how to make good choices and others along the way -- to be points of light." osa ights o ,,undaIHappy Birthday!
