The Director of Annual Giving reports to the Director of Development and is responsible for: planning, implementing and coordinating a comprehen- sive annual giving program; drafting text for direct mail appeals; directing activ- ities of an annual gift recognition society, organizing and supporting a network of volunteers; and promoting and monitoring participation in the corporate matching gifts program. Minimun requirements include a bachelor's degree; at least two years of fundraising or related experience; a clear understanding of and a strong com- mitment to the values and mission of a Benedictine Monastery and a Roman Catholic seminary; excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal and com- munications skills (written and oral); and willingness to travel.
