Forward in Faith Contributions to Forward in Faith, a capital campaign of the Sisters of St. Benedict in Fer- dinand, has reached 75 percent of its $5.1 million goal. The campaign is being con- ducted to fund the renovation of St. Benedict Hall, a six-floor complex which formerly housed three floors of bedrooms, the in- firmary, the kitchen and dining area, the monastery and Marian Heights Academy libraries, the bakery and the print shop. The renovation work involves upgrading the electrical, me- chanical and plumbing systems in the building, as well as pro- viding fire safety measures, such as enclosed stairwells and a sprinkler system. Joining forces St. Agnes Church and Howell United Methodist Church, both in Evansville, joined forces this summer for their third annual Vacation Bible School. Over 35 adult and teen volun- teers conducted classes for 80 children ages three to five and in grades one through six. An adult Bible Study was also offered.
