We are on the rno00ve to serve you, better! September 1992 is ST. VINCENT de PAUL MONTH. Here in Evansville our SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT de PAUL has served for 110 years (from 1882 to 1992). Our THRIFT STORES have 40 years of Continuous Service (from 1952 to 1992). Speaking frankly and honestly, we very readily acknowledge that for several years our business climate has not allowed us the necessary ADVERTISING to keep you aware that we are still very busy serving you. NOW! With acquiring a large enough building to BALE CLOTHING which eventually does not sell in our Thrift Store, persons in Third World Countries now at last are benefiting from a portion of YOUR DONATIONS. NOW! With the acquisition of Long Body Trucks to more economically carry much larger loads of Donated Materials, (We hope to have two new stores in a year if possible) we really are "ON THE MOVE TO SERVE YOU BETTER" We still take great care to serve courteously. No needless embarrassment to recipients of help from St. Vincents. WE NEED YOUR DONATIONS OF CLOTHING, "'USEABLE FUR- NITURE & APPLIANCES, MISC., of course MONEY for the Store is always welcome along with VEHICLES & BOATS and BEQUESTS IN YOUR WILL (Specifically for The St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store. Or pos- sibly pay for our New Building or a New Store.) MANY THANKS TO OUR FAITHFUL DONORS AND SUPPORTERS OVER MANY YEARS. You are genuinely and sincerely appreciated! Special thanks to "FRIENDS OF ST. VINCENT" who paid for this Ad: and many persons and businesses helping our TV and Radio P.S.A. Ads in a regular format and a "CELEBRITY SERIES" format, plus Printed Posters you will soon see. Also, thanks to an extra special competitor for invaluable advice and expertise. Thank all of you very much.
