u " Parking lot construction is expected to start "by the end of June," at Memorial Hospi- tal and Health Care Center in Jasper. The parking lot is the first phase in Memorial's $14 million expansion and reno- vation program, according to information provided by the hospital. "Convenient parking for our patients and visitors is an important item, and we want to alleviate the tight parking situation we're already in as well as keep inconveniences to our neighbors to a mini- mum," said Michael J. Bud- nick, president. The new parking lot will provide 75 new parking spaces. Con- struction is expected to take 60 days. For the second phase, drawings of the new 50,000 square foot expansion project are now being developed. Groundbreaking is scheduled for November.
