Benedictines celebrate anniversaries On June 13, the Benedictine community at St. Meinrad Arch- abbey celebrated the jubilees of priesthood ordination of five members of the monastic com- munity. sArchabbot Bonaventure Knaebel was ordained to the riesthood June 5, 1943. In 1955, e was elected Archabbot of St. Meinrad and served in that posi- tion for 11 years. Father Malachy Fulton was ordained June 5. 1943. From 1944 to 1957, he was associate pastor at St. Benedict Church, Evansville. He was associate pas- tor at St. Mary Church, Hunting- burg [he following year. For seven years, from 1960 to 1967, he was pastor at Mary Help of Christians Church, Mariah Hill. From 1967 to 1,{186, he was pas- tor at St. Anthony Church, St. Anthony.
