Father Richard Wildeman has been appointed Pastor of St. Joseph Church, Vander- burgh County. Father Wildeman, 40, is a native of St. Philip. He was born April 7, 1951, the son of Anthony Wildeman and Theresa Schutte Wildeman. He was ordained May 13, 1977, and appointed as asso- ciate pastor of St. Joseph Church, Jasper. Subsequent appointments as associate pastor included St. John Church, Newburgh; St. Matthew Church, Mount Ver- non, and Holy Family Church, Jasper. Father Ronald Zgunda has been appointed Pastor of St. Mary Church, Washington. Father Zgunda, 40, is a na- tive of Hammond, Ind. He was born Feb. 12, 1951, the son of Stephen Zgunda and Geneva Gretencord. He was ordained for the Diocese of Evansville May 5, 1977. Father Zgunda's first as- signment was as associate pastor of St. Ferdinand Church, Ferdinand. He also served as associate pastor of St. John Church, Loogootee. In 1980, Father Zgunda was named associate vocation di- rector, while continuing resi- dence in Loogootee. Father Edward Schnur has been appointed Associate to the Catholic Community of Washington, with residence at St. Simon Church, Wash- ington. Father Schnur, 37, is the son of Harold and Margaret Schnnr of Evansville. He was ordained June 1. Father Gregory Spencer has been appointed Associate Pastor of Holy Rosary Church, Evansville. Father Spencer, 34, was born in Endicott, N.Y., on Sept. 25, 1956. He is the son of David Earl Spencer and Kinko Takemura Spencer. He was ordained May 19, 1989. He has served as associate pastor of St. Ferdinand Church, Ferdinand, since May 1989. Father Hamel, the son of Michael Kenneth Hamel and Margaret Hartmann Hamel of Evansville, was born July 1, 1938. He was ordained May 13, 1967. His most recent service to the diocese was as director of Sarto Retreat House and Catholic Center Activities. Father Anthony Kissel has been assigned to a course of doctoral studies at the Catholic University of Lou- vain, Belgium., beginning with the fall semester. He is is diocesan Director of Cam- pus Ministry and serves as Director of Campus Ministry at the University of Southern Indiana. Father Kissel, 43, is a na- tive of Evansville. He was born July 11, 1947, the son of Elmer Kissel and Pauline Ralph Kissel. He was ordained Sept. 1, 1973, and assigned to teach at Mater Dei High School, Evansville, with residence at St. Matthew Church, Mt. Ver- non.
