A reception will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the American Legion Hall. Friends and relatives are invited to attend; the couple requests no gifts. They were married May 18, 1946, at St. Thomas Church in Oroville, Calif., by Father Patrick O'Donnel. They are the parents of six children: Robert Halter and Carolyn Leffler, both of Indianapolis, Sandy Woodall and Jay Halter, both of Vincennes, Jill Lynch of Terre Haute, and Mark Halter, sta- tioned with the Air Force at Beale Air Force Base in Marysville, Calif. They have 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. The Halters own and operate Halter's Market in Vincennes. Mr. Halter also farms. A card shower is planned in their honor.
