ER FORD &,7,,/ , MERCURY LINCOLN - MERCURY JASPER 482-1200 Take Up Your Cross The Lenten prayer theme at St. Joseph School, Vanderburgh County, was "Take Up Your Cross," based on Matthew 16:24, according to Linda Feulner, parish DRE. Students were asked to focus on the meaning of the cross in their lives and follow Jesus. They were each given a personal copy of "A Pocket Way of the Cross." A prayer service was held every morning "to help the student focus on the Lenten theme. During Lent, the St. Joseph stu- dents collected .money for the St. John Soup Kitchen.
