St. Wendel School, St. Wen-
del, has been chosen to pilot
Project Lead, according to Ann
Friedman, principal. The pro-
gram is being designed by Jutie
Hart from the Purdue Extension
Office and Sergeant Don Jackson
from the State Police Depart-
ment.
Project Lead will cover such
topics as laws, law enforcement,
say NO to drugs, and solutions
to common problems. Students
in grades five and six will be
participating in the program.

Resignation
Barbara Engelland is step-

In a letter to the parish, she
writes, "After many prayers, it
appears God is moving me on my
journey. The way is still unclear,
hut I believe that by trusting in
His Divine Providence and care
