For me, these lyrics offer food for thought -- a meditation -- for these weeks after Easter when the church continues to reflect upon the death and resurrection of Jesus. As Jesus hung dying on the cros's, those who loved him greatly could only watch and wonder what final earthly thoughts filled his mind. Perhaps he asked himself: "How did I get tion is A-Ill adults. "Paulie" (DreamWorks) Frail comedy follows the mis- chievous misadventures of a wisecracking parrot (voice of Jay Mohr) who criss-crosses the country in search of the little girl who first owned him. Director John Roberts surrounds the talkative bird with good-heart- ed people (including Gena Rowlands and Tony Shalhoub) and one cardboard villain (Bruce Davison) in a sweet, col- orful story of modest appeal. A rude expression and a muttered instance of profanity. The USCC classification is A-II -- adults and adolescents. The MPAA rat- ing is PG parental guidance suggested.
