She has devel- oped individualized plans for students, she had tutored them, selected appropriate materials, and given them huge doses of positive rein- forcement. She was worked with students before school, after school and during her free time in order to stretch them to where she feels they need to be." Mater Dei teacher honored as outstanding educator Jayne Hobgood, an English teacher at Mater Dei High School, Evansville, was one of four winners of the annual Outstanding Educator of the Year award. Hobgood received the award at an April 17 banquet sponsored by the Mead John- son Nutritional Group and the University of Evansville. Each of the top winners were given $1,000 cash awards and a tuition-free course at the University of Evansville.
