1993 The Message -- for Catholics of Southwestern Indiana 7 Benedictines h Father Roos is honored "Leader of the Pack" at Memorial Students at Memorial Itigh School, Evansville, are putting the finishing touches on their production "Leader of tile Pack" which will be presented April 29 and 30 and May 1 and 2. Jill Soltysiak, Michael Kessler and Stephen McCoy have the starring roles in the musical which is being presented by the Performing Arts Departments at Memorial. Cast members include Shelly Long, Maria Peter, Karen Man- gia, Greg Waddy, Lauren Smither, Shane Lawrence, Susan Strawn, Phil Wells, Shan- nah French, Katrina Spear, Steven Akins, Jocelyn French, Matt Barton, Kara Vozei, Ryan Mills, Libhy Melton, Joseph Cape, Jill Bradley, Trent Eng- hers, Sarah Scheller, John II Illll I I I I Becker, Rachel Royster and Heidi Ruder. Joseph Cape, Shane Lawrence, Marshall Myers, Greg Waddy, Phil Wells, Jennifer Buroker, Ellen Donofrio, Libby Melton, Amy Rivers and Kate Stump are also dancers and members of tilt; chortle. Happy Birthday[ Suzanne Dodd. coordinator at Marian Day School, Evansville. celebrates her birthday May 1 Architect, engineer chosen for project The Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand have selected Eugene Hausmann as the architect for the renovation of St. Benedict Hall. The hall is a six-floor com- plex housing thre.e floors of bed- rooms, the infirmary, tile kitchen and dining area, the monastery and academy libraries, the bak- ery and the print shop. "Plans call for tile upgrading of the electrical, mechanical and plumbing svstems in this buiht- ing, as weil as providing fire safety measures, such as en- closed stairwells and a sprinkler system. Bedrooms, including those in the infirmary, will be enlarged, and additional, more accessible bathroom facilities will be added. The renovation project is being funded by Forward in Faith, a S5.1 million campaign con- ducted by the Sisters of St. Bene- dict. The engineer for this project will be Ed Montgomery.
