The eighth graders constructed an unbreakable bridge, which after standing up to 250 pounds, was retired un- broken. They are Jason Like, first place; Laureen Martin, second place, and Milissa Martin, third place. $15,000 grant Marian Heights Academy, Fer- dinand, has been awarded a $15,000 grant to assist funding for minority scholarships. The grant proposal expressed a spe- cific need to augment and in- crease funds aimed at making Marian Heights an option for Na- tive and African American stu- dents through scholarships and other financial aid.
