The collection was begun four years ago, to support strug- churches in formerly communist countries. U.S, Catholics have contributed more than $20 million, assisting more than 650 projects in 21 countries. Rite of Election The "Rite of Election" for Catechumens and Candidates will be on the first Sunday of Lent, March 5. Rites will be cel- ebrated at Holy Family Church, Jasper, at 1:30 p.m. EST. and at Nativity Church, Evansville at 5 p.m. CST. To benefit Street Relief Evansville pianist and performer Gregory DuPont will per- form a concert, "Espiritu: A Musical Celebration of Life," hosted by St. Mary Catholic Church, on Sunday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. DuPont is director of music at St. Mar5' Church. The concert will aid Street Relief through a flee-wilt offering. Murder at the Woods The St. Mary-of-the-Woods College office of continuing edu- ation and the Vermillion County Community Theatre will present "Deadly Deal" for the annual Murder at the Woods mystery dinner theatre, Friday and Saturday, March 10 and 11, at 7 p.m. Audience members are welcome to join in trying to solve the murder. Resolving family conflict Golden Dome Productions at the University of Notre Dame will present "Stop Arguing: How to Resolve Conflict in the Family," on the Faith and Values Channel, March 5, from 1 to 2 p.m. CST.
