Taping the Mass in Loogootee Every Sunday, members of the junior and senior high school youth group at St. John Church, Loogootee, tape the 10 a.m. Mass. The technicians include Rob McAtee, Jennifer Hand, Jennifer Kluesner, Aaron Summers and Evan Hand. After the Mass, they make a copy of the tape for every shut-in in the parish. The Communion Ministers deliver the tapes each week. Art Exhibit The artwork of Ron Riordan, a parishioner at St. Benedict Church, Evansville, will be featured at the Evansville Mu- seum of Arts and Sciences from January 30 through March 6. A new cookbook at Resurrection Parishioners at Resurrection Church, Evansville, are com- piling a new cookbook. Recipes categories include Appetizers and Beverages, Soups and Sal- ads, Vegtables, Main Dishes, Breads and Rolls, Desserts, Mis- cellaneous, Microwave, and Low- Fat. Interested parties Studying the Synod at Sts. Peter and Paul Fourth and fifth graders at Sts. Peter and Paul School, Haubstadt, have been studying the recent diocesan Synod in their religion classes. As the students studied the Synod, they read, made posters and designed bulletin boards for their classrooms. Lucy Will, a pre-school teacher at Sts. Peter and Paul and a Synod delegate, was in- vited to tell the students about her involvement in the Synod. She told the students that the Synodal process was a wonderful experience for her and she asked them to continue praying for the diocese as the Synod's work con- tinues. Sts. Peter and Paul teachers Angle Johnson, Mary Alice McDonald and Katrina Mar- tin also worked with the stu- dents. Odyssey of the Mind Team Chris Healy, Justin La- Grange, Emilie Campbell, Jackie Schwenk, Jase Ader John David Paar and Jesslca Peter are members of the Odyssey of the Mind academic team at Precious Blood School, Jasper. Jeanne Campbell, Jill Scherry and Ron Pittman, principal, are team coaches. The team will participate in regional competition in March.
