Vatican H Vision 2000 telecourse to be presented at Catholic Center "Vatican II Vision 2000: The Teaching Church" is the title of a telecourse being presented at the Catholic Center, Evansville. The six one-hour-long ses- sions will be presented on on the fourth Tuesday of each month, at 2:30 p.m. CST, beginning Jan. 22. The series will review the Vatican II documents and ex- amine what the Church teaches and how it should move into the future in the spirit of Vatican II. Topics include: "A Common Search for God: Dialogue among the Churches; .... A Cen- tury of Catholic Social Teaching; .... Spiritual Life in a Consumer Culture; .... Authori- ty and American Catholicism;" "Mary: Model of Contemporary Discipleship," and "American Catholic Morality in a pluralistic Society." "Creating an Inclusive Church" is the title of a CTNA presentation Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 2:30 p.m. CST. It is in- tended for religious leaders at all levels interested in involv- ing non-whites and their cultural concerns and values in- to the on-going life of the Church. Among areas to be discussed are employment, boards, parish councils and voluntary associations. Father Don Kimball, who is in Evansville for a series of presentations to seventh and eighth graders, parents and educators, is one of the presenters of a series of CTNA programs called "Back Talk." Father Kimball is a disc jockey in California. Topics are "Being Liked," scheduled for Jan. 31 at noon CST; "Being Mad at God," an Feb. 28, at noon CST, and "Forgiveness," on April 11, at noon CST.
